Hey {{contact.first_name}},

I get it…

You absolutely love what you do & that’s why you dared to step into this unpredictable world of business.

But let’s be honest for a moment- are there things that nag you, instances that make you question your decision?

Like these things:

  • Gaining visibility in a crowded market, despite consistent efforts

  • Industry shifts and a quest to remain ahead of the curve

  • Feelings of isolation, especially if you work remotely

  • Irregular income and cash flow challenges

  • Balancing work and personal time

If yes,

What can keep you going through these tough instances?

It’s remembering; WHY you wanted to start this business in the first place.

‘Your Why’ keeps you going when you face challenges.

It also helps you stand out in a crowded marketplace.

What's more interesting is- your why is an ongoing process.

It evolves as you and your business grow.

You should stay open to self-discovery, and be willing to adapt your why as needed to stay true to your authentic self and aspirations.

So how do you work your way backwards to your 'Why'?

Find out in the 📈 Tip of the Week.

What else is coming up:

  • 📈 Tip of the week: 6 tips to reconnect with your WHY

  • 👀 Exclusive insights: Sell Authentically in the Age of AI

  • 💫 Resources: To shape a purpose driven and aligned business

📈 Tip of the week

Here's how to connect with your 'Why' at deeper level

  1. Reflect on Your Passion:

    • What activities make you lose track of time?

    • When do you feel most alive and fulfilled?

  2. Define Your Impact:

    • What positive change or transformation do you aspire to bring about?

    • Consider the legacy you want to leave through your work.

  3. Ask the Five Whys:

    • Ask yourself why you do what you do, and then continue to ask why again for each subsequent answer at least 5 times.

  4. Seek Feedback from Others:

    • Ask friends, and clients what they perceive as your strengths and unique qualities.

    • Their perspectives offer insights you might miss in yourself.

  5. Connect with Your Emotions:

    • Pay attention to moments that evoke strong emotions, whether positive or negative.

    • You’ll get clues to what truly matters to you.

  6. Create a Personal Mission Statement:

    • Write a concise mission statement that captures the essence of why you do what you do.

👀 Industry Insights

Today, where AI is all around us, it's natural to feel FOMO if you're not very tech-savvy and not using AI in your business.

But lemme tell you something unconventional...

Of course, AI can personalise everything these days, but customers have become sceptical of AI affecting their decisions.

For someone to buy from you, they must trust you. And for them to trust you, they want to know who YOU are.

This is why building genuine relationships, communicating authentically and treating customers like real people will continue to be the most powerful tools for business growth.

And believe it or not, 'AI' can never communicate like we 'humans' do.

You don't need perfectly scripted approaches, like an AI. Instead, prioritise a sense of belonging with your customers.

So how to go about this?

  • Talk to your customers the way you’ll talk to your best friends.

  • Use conversational elements like exclamation marks and informal punctuation.

  • Be genuinely you by showcasing your quirks, humours and be unapologetically yourself.

Now I am curious to know, what emoji do you use the most while chatting with your friends? 🫶
