Happy Friday!
Last week, I sat down with a close friend who runs his own service-based business, and let me tell you, the stories were flowing.
Imagine this: set 1:1 calls going awkward, progress slower than a turtle, leaving my friend stuck wondering if he's on the right track.
Does any of this sound familiar?
I shared with him this simple filter - my go-to move that's changed my business game, and I want you in on it!
Enter the "Application Process"
Think of it as a matchmaking magic trick to ensure you and your client are a match made in business heaven. Before diving into the professional commitment, it's like a dance of questions, a prelude to the partnership.
The Application Process isn't about building walls; it's about constructing bridges.
Now, I hear you thinking, "Won't this filter out potential clients?"
Valid concern!
But in my decade-plus of entrepreneurship, it's not about quantity; it's about quality connections.
This method helps you understand your clients' needs, goals, and if your vibes align. It's not just about providing a service; it's about delivering a transformation that clicks with both parties.
Trust me, the application process has been my go-to for attracting not just clients, but the right clients. Those who not only need your services but are willing to invest and resonate with you on a personal level.
Quality trumps quantity, especially in the world of personalised services. The result?
Happier clients, repeat business, and a transformational journey that leaves everyone smiling.

After a lot of trial and error early in my entrepreneurial journey, I'm now at a stage where my business attracts individuals who are the exact fit for my services. It is because I have an Application Process.
Here's how you can craft the same for your business:
Define Your Ideal Client: Clearly outline the characteristics, values, and goals of your ideal client to narrow down your target audience clearly.
Establish a Process: Consider a two-step application process. In the initial stage, potential clients provide basic information through a survey form / questionnaire. If they meet your initial criteria, you can invite them to a more in-depth interview or consultation. Or you can choose 1 of the 2.
Create an Application Form: Collect essential information from potential clients, like their needs, goals. Include questions about their industry, project scope, timeline, and budget.
Set Clear Expectations: Clearly outline your expectations and what clients can expect from your services during the application process.
Review and Screen Applications: Look for clients who meet your ideal profile, have a genuine need for your services, and align with your values and business goals.
Refine Your Process: Continuously evaluate and refine your application process to adapt to changing needs and market dynamics.

Embarking on the entrepreneurial journey can often feel like setting sail solo, and the unexpected solitude can be quite a challenge.
To counter the loneliness, a fantastic and enjoyable approach is to immerse yourself in networking eventsβeither by attending them or hosting your own.
One of the best & fun ways to surviving the solitude is by attending OR hosting your own networking events.
Now, post-COVID, the event landscape has shifted to virtual shores.
It's an entirely different game, but research indicates that it's an intriguing market to explore.
Whether you're a participant or want to become the host, virtual events open doors to connect with like-minded individuals from all corners of the globe.
This not only opens doors to new business opportunities but also adds a touch of excitement to your day-to-day routine.
And for me personally it has led to finding life-long business friends.
